Revision
revisaHi, sorry to bother you with this but could you please revise these articles, as I believe they are not in Chabacano:
Thanks. --Caro de Segeda (discusión) 06:32 14 Ago 2023 (UTC)
- No problem. I will prioritize the Galileo article. If you see some science articles that needs rewriting let me know; I will also accept suggestions for the next science articles, as long as they are basic science terms. LongganisaSeller (discusión) 03:27 15 Ago 2023 (UTC)
- No worries. I will put here some articles for you to tell me whether they are written in Chabacano. I think that many of the long articles are just copy-pasted from the Spanish Wikipedia like that or that they have changed a few things to "make them look like Chabacano" such as changing the article LA to EL and the plural -s to MAGA. Many times the first paragraph is in correct Chabacano. So, could you please tell me whether these articles are in Chabacano:
Just let me know whether the whole article is in Spanish or whether the first paragraph is in correct Chabacano. If not correct, I will just ask somebody to delete them. You don't need to rewrite them in Chabacano. --Caro de Segeda (discusión) 07:32 15 Ago 2023 (UTC)
- They do look like they are copied from Spanish Wiki, with a few superficial revisions. From the looks of it, it is easier to rewrite them from scratch so deleting them is still the best response (especially for Asia, Peru, and Venezuela; they are too important so they need to be written). I will ask the more fluent ones tonight about it. Someone might be interested in at least writing them. A short article in Chavacano is better than getting a long one but obviously copied from Spanish Wiki. LongganisaSeller (discusión) 07:41 15 Ago 2023 (UTC)
- How about these ones? Are they in Chabacano?

- Manila looks Chavacano all throughout. It should be kept as is.
- Brazil looks Chavacano enough until the Etymology part. The rest looks too Spanish to me. Maybe removing those sections will be enough.
- Ciudad Quezon looks Chavacano enough until the Barangays section.
- Zaragoza looks too Spanish to me.
- India looks like Spanish to me, besides what I think are quality issues in the article.
- I can't fully decide on Ciudad de Cebu and Ciudad de Caracas tbh; I can see Chavacano at the start but they aren't consistent. Untangling them might be too much work. LongganisaSeller (discusión) 08:44 17 Ago 2023 (UTC)
- Could you please translate this:
- Zaragoza, also known in English as Saragossa, is the capital city of the province of Zaragoza and of the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It lies by the Ebro river and its tributaries, the Huerva and the Gállego, roughly in the center of both Aragon and the Ebro basin.
- India, officially the Republic of India (ISO: Bhārat Gaṇarājya), is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area; the most populous country as of June 2023; and from the time of its independence in 1947, the world's most populous democracy. Bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the southwest, and the Bay of Bengal on the southeast, it shares land borders with Pakistan to the west; China, Nepal, and Bhutan to the north; and Bangladesh and Myanmar to the east. In the Indian Ocean, India is in the vicinity of Sri Lanka and the Maldives; its Andaman and Nicobar Islands share a maritime border with Thailand, Myanmar, and Indonesia.
- I will delete the information in those articles and just add your translations. Caro de Segeda (discusión) 06:17 18 Ago 2023 (UTC)
